"And lest I should be exalted above measusre through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a throun in the flesh, the sessenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above meaure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And He said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." II Corinthians 12:7-9
I had always thought that a thorn in the flesh was a person because of Numbers 33:55 and Judges 2:3. Now I understand a messenger of Satan can bring an affliction--someone with a curse they may not even do intentionally but under demonic influence. Grace is still sufficient!
